Men’s Lungi
This type of dress is wear in the lower part of the body. Lungi is used in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Myanmar. Although it originated in southern India but many communities in South Asia use it. One color lungi is more popular but usually it is knit in different designs and colors. In addition to design and color, there is a black spot in white or black stripe on above and below of lungi. The men’s are wearing lungi in different ways in daily activities, wedding ceremonies and cultural activities. In the case of daily wear lungi is more popular. Lungi is usually worn by it’s comfortably, so its length can be easily fixed. Warm areas people can use lungi. In the summer, there is very little in costume than lungi. There is no substitute for lungi to maintain air flow in the closed room such as the ventilator for entering the air. Lungi is very beneficial, comfortable, diverse clothing. There is no chain or hook in lungi. There is no elastic at all. No belt is required to wear lungi. A special type of knot has to wear lungi.
